A little background.
Ken Brownlow first came to Ladysmith in 1975. At that time, he worked in his father “Uncle” Walter’s hardware store in town, which provided window repairs as part of its business. In 1978 when Thermoproof Windows opened in Chemainus, they then started installing windows locally and business started growing.
Ken then became a general contractor on BC Hydro’s Power Smart program, which ran through the 1990s, completing Total Energy refits on hundreds of houses.
Since then, Ken has been working on residential and commercial renovations, repairs and upgrades, covering the Nanaimo to Duncan region.
He enjoys spending time with his family and fishing on the ocean when he can.
